Administrative Assistant, School of Physical Therapy

Anderson University and the School of Physical Therapy invite applications for a full-time, 12-month Administrative Assistant.  This position is located in the University Center in Greenville, SC.  Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Reporting directly to the Chair of the School of Physical Therapy, the Administrative Assistant’s will provide comprehensive administrative support to maintain daily office operations for the School of Physical Therapy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, budget management, preparation of accreditation and university reports, new faculty/staff orientation, class scheduling, answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate person, greeting guests, providing facility tours and program information to prospective students, coordinating faculty travel, processing purchase orders, and other related administrative duties as assigned.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree is preferred.  2-3 years of previous administrative or managerial experience required. Prior experience with academic software systems, budget and database management, and other computer and videoconferencing technology is desired, but not required. Superb communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities is essential.
