Administrative Assistant, Athletics

Anderson University’s Department of Athletics invites applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant for the Athletics Field House and Athletics Campus. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The University seeks a candidate with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning.

The Athletics Administrative Assistant will handle administrative duties for the staff, coaches, and departments in the Athletic Field House and across the Athletic Campus, as well as all business-related needs within the department. Key responsibilities include greeting and guiding guests utilizing great customer service, hospitality, and professionalism; screening inquiries & requests for the Field House; assisting athletic staff and coaches with Workday processes; assisting with development and implementation of office procedures for the Field House; and assisting with scheduling all Athletic Campus needs.

Knowledge equivalent of that gained through an associate’s degree and 2-3 years previous administrative support experience is required. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills also required, as well as MS Office proficiency. High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality essential.
