Teaching at AU

What year did you start teacing at AU?

2015

How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?

Most of my students come to class with experiences that have left them not liking math and believing they cannot do mathematics. My desire is to help students see the importance of mathematics in every aspect of life while giving them tools to become more confident in their abilities to use mathematics successfully in life.

Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” At AU I am able to not only instruct minds in the classroom but also nurture hearts as I connect with students and colleagues around campus.

AU is more than an institution of higher learning…it’s a family that focuses on traveling this journey of life with Christ at the center and success as the goal.
