To help you prepare for the regional interviews, Anderson University will host a Mock Interview on Saturday, February 11, 2023 beginning at 8:30 am. This event is inclusive for both parents and students and will be finished by 1:00 pm.
On Mock Interview Day, Saturday February 11, you will be interviewed by a team of current Teaching Fellows.
During the interview, you may choose to deliver your three to five-minute speech. You will also write a 30-minute essay to practice and will receive immediate feedback from English Professors at AU. Our Anderson University Teaching Fellows want to help you achieve success, and we believe that the practice and helpful feedback will ease your nerves and effectively equip you for the CERRA Interview Day.
Your parents are encouraged to join you. We have a special program for them specifically with comments from Mrs. Ashley Stone, Dr. Mark Butler, Dr. Michael Fleming, and AU Teaching
Fellows for a Q & A session. The session will conclude with a brief financial aid update.

Anderson University Teaching Fellows plan and implement a Mock Interview day to assist CERRA Teaching Fellows candidates in practicing for the CERRA Interviews. Our number of candidates joining us continues to increase throughout the years, and it’s a privilege to provide this opportunity to South Carolina seniors.
Mock Interviews provide an opportunity for South Carolina high school seniors who received letters inviting them to the CERRA interviews to sharpen their interview and writing skills for the CERRA Interview Day. The Mock Interviews are planned and conducted by Anderson University Teaching Fellows and the Advisory Council with assistance from Anderson University Admission/Financial Aid. Teaching Fellow candidates from South Carolina and their parents are invited to attend each year.
