The latest edition of Synthesis, the award-winning online magazine produced by students in the Anderson University College of Arts and Sciences, is now online.
The Summer 2021 issue includes features about AU alumna Maris Lawyer’s debut novel about labor struggles rocking a West Virginia mining town, a biology major’s study of a Yellow Fever vaccine, a new boardwalk at Rocky River Nature Park right on the edge of the AU campus and an update on AU’s Chiquola Center Studios in downtown Anderson.
Faculty features include Dr. Diana Ivankovic’s new iBook The Cancer Research Center; also how communication students benefit from valuable real-world experience, thanks to AU professor and Emmy winning video producer Bobby Rettew.
Synthesis will also explore exciting new classes and innovative programs, as well as explore technology’s role in keeping the College of Arts and Sciences moving forward through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Synthesis is produced by students in the Department of Communication’s Editing and Layout course, taught by Professor Robert Reeves.
