For the seventh consecutive year, Anderson University has achieved a record enrollment, university officials said Oct. 2. This week marks the date when colleges and universities submit official fall numbers.

Anderson has a total enrollment of 2,966, 44 students more than last year’s record number. When scheduled additional graduate and adult degree programs begin later this fall, the University’s enrollment will exceed 3,000 for the first time in school history.

While the new freshman class is one of the largest ever enrolled at Anderson, a significant increase in the growing graduate program at AU is a major factor in this year’s record enrollment. Graduate studies began at Anderson in 2006 with the first class of 21 students in education. The graduate program now has 315 students in education, business, ministry, criminal justice and music education.
