Dr. Carol Archuleta of Jackson, TN, has been selected as the new Dean of the School of Nursing at Anderson University.
Dr. Archuleta currently serves as Professor and Associate Dean of the Undergraduate Nursing Program at Union University. She has extensive experience as an academic leader in nursing education where she has served as chair of the undergraduate nursing program, associate dean of the undergraduate nursing program, and acting dean. In addition to her extensive service as an academic leader, she has served as chief nursing officer and nurse executive for more than a 17 years prior to joining academe.
She has an earned Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing in Administration, and Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Union University. She is also certified as a nurse executive administrator.
Dr. Archuleta began her duties at AU on Monday, April 25.
