Anderson University continued its climb in the top tier of Regional Colleges and Universities in the South with the newest rankings released by U.S. News & World Report on Tuesday, Sept. 10. The 2014 Best Colleges listing by the publication names Anderson the 20th – ranked regional college in the South, AU’s highest ranking ever. Ninety-nine colleges and universities from the region are listed in the first and second tiers of the Best Colleges each year.
Additionally, AU was one of only two universities in the South named as one of the 61 schools nationally as “Up and Coming” schools others should be watching. Anderson has made the “Up and Coming” list for five consecutive years.
Up-and-coming schools are nominated by other colleges and universities as especially innovative and progressive and showing a great deal of positive momentum.
Though the 2014 rankings are the best-ever for the institution, Anderson University entered the top tier of the U.S. News rankings in 2006 and has remained in the top 25 of its category each year since.
