Anderson University and Apple, Inc. are joining forces to bring a revolutionary teaching tool to educators from all over the Upstate and beyond.
Anderson University is hosting an event with Apple, Inc. that will explore the use of coding (software programming) in teaching and learning on Friday, June 9 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Educators from both K12 and Higher Education Educators from around the region will be introduced to technologies, tools, and curriculum that supports academic transformation through coding.
The event will feature an Apple Education Development Executive with extensive experience in computer science and its intersection with 21st century learning and careers. Apple’s “Everyone Can Code” initiative is designed to promote fun and interactivity and aims to make coding an essential skill for today’s learners that promotes problem solving, teamwork, and creativity.
