“Preach the Word!” is the theme of the 30th annual National Conference on Preaching, planned for May 21-23 at The Church Without Walls in Houston. The conference is sponsored annually by Preaching magazine and Anderson University.

The conference will feature a series of theme addresses, plus a series of sermons based on the New Testament book of Second Timothy, along with a variety of practical workshops on preaching-related topics. Among the speakers scheduled for the event are: Ralph Douglas West, pastor of the host church; HB Charles, pastor of Shiloh Church in Jacksonville, FL; Stephen Rummage, pastor of Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK; Charlie Dates, pastor of Progressive Baptist Church in Chicago, IL; and Bryan Chapell, pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL.

Additional speakers include: Dean Inserra, pastor of City Church in Tallahassee, FL; Rufus Smith, pastor of Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN; Joel Gregory, professor of preaching at Truett Theological Seminary in Waco, TX; David Allen, professor of preaching at Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, TX; Shinchan Jeong, pastor of First Korean Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, TX; Chris Hartwell, pastor of Cross Roads Community Church in Pearland, TX; and France Brown, professor of preaching at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, TX. A number of additional speakers will be presenting workshops at the conference. A full list of speakers is at www.ncpnow.com.

“This will be the 30thanniversary of the National Conference on Preaching, and features the strongest team of speakers we have ever assembled,” said Dr. Michael Duduit, editor of Preaching magazine and dean of the Clamp Divinity School at Anderson University. “Pastors and church leaders who attend will be blessed by a focus on the biblical mandate to preach the Word, by inspiring sermons dealing with Second Timothy, and by more than 20 practical workshops.”

Further information and registration is at www.ncpnow.com. Special rates are available for students, church planters, spouses, and additional registrants from the same church.
