Coordinator of Graduate Studies, College of Education

Anderson University’s College of Education invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as a Coordinator of Graduate Studies. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and will manage Graduate Studies programs in the College of Education. Using a variety of student and degree tracking systems, the Coordinator will create and develop course schedules and rotations for Graduate Studies and prepare forms (Graduate Curriculum Form) and assessments for the College of Education, advisory committees, and stakeholders. Additionally, this position will serve as a liaison between faculty/staff and the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies, communicating with Admissions, Enrollment Services, and other university departments, program procedures and requirements, ensuring accurate information and documentation is provided to incoming and prospective students. The Coordinator will provide departmental administrative assistant support to include student file maintenance, report generation, event scheduling, and general administrative-related duties as needed.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of related office support experience required. Working knowledge with Google Workplace, Zoom, Microsoft Office is also required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, a high-level of organization, keen attention to detail and a professional, welcoming customer service focus is desired. The ability to maintain confidentiality of information is essential.

This is an on-site, in person role located at the University Center of Greenville. Working hours M-Th from 9:00am-6:00pm; F 9:00am-12:00pm.
