Academic Background

Russell Clark has worked in Anderson School District Two for 12 years. He has taught 3-5th grades and served as a Literacy Coach. He spent the last four years as the Director of Elementary Education. Russell earned Doctor of Education from the University of South Carolina in 2022. He received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education at Anderson University. Russell has Literacy Coach, Literacy Specialist, and Gifted and Talented endorsements. He served on the 2022 ELA standards writing committee for K-2 and has publications in collaborative planning, systems thinking, and Ed. D. Activism. His wife, Stacie of 29 years, is a teacher. He still has one child at home, Zoie. He is currently the Pastor of Parkwood Baptist Church in Anderson.
