Molly Tripp, bio
Molly Tripp, a native of Fargo, ND, is a professional pianist who has lived in upstate SC since 2019. Currently she is on collaborative staff of the Conservatory of Music at Anderson University, with past freelancing in the Upstate including the South Carolina Governor’s School of the Arts and Humanities and Furman University. Molly holds degrees in piano performance from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN (BM) and The Cleveland Institute of Music (MM, PSD).

I play in lessons of vocal and instrumental majors, rehearse with them before any performances to coordinate any timing, dynamics, and phrasing, and perform with them in their recitals.
I appreciate Anderson’s acknowledgement of Christ and standards of excellence in academics. Their Conservatory of Music is full of outstanding professionals teaching their craft, and there is a great collegial atmosphere among the faculty with each other and with the students.
Being a professional pianist and getting to play with other instrumental musicians is so satisfying, in analysis and in collaborating! With vocal/art song and musical theater repertoire, it is a delightful immersion in poetry, history, culture, foreign languages, human sentiment, music theory, and playing moving music-very rich!
