Academic Background

Michael Duduit is founding Dean of the College of Christian Studies and the Clamp Divinity School at Anderson University in Anderson, SC, where he also serves as Professor of Christian Ministry. He serves as Executive Editor of Preaching magazine, a publication he founded in 1985. He writes PreachingNow, a weekly e-mail newsletter read by more than 10,000 pastors and church leaders. Michael is founder and director of the National Conference on Preaching and the International Congress on Preaching.

My calling is to equip and encourage pastors and church leaders. My work at AU has provided a wonderful setting in which to train the next generation of leaders while also helping current pastors and leaders in advancing their ministries.

Founder and current executive editor of Preaching magazine. Founder and director of the National Conference on Preaching (an annual event) and the International Congress of Preaching. Former President of the Evangelical Homiletics Socety and the Baptist Communicators Association. Author and/or Editor of a dozen books, including the Handbook of Contemporary Preaching.

I enjoy our students who have a deep desire to grow in their capacity of serve, and I enjoy working with an amazing team of faculty colleagues.
