Academic Background
Megan is a native of Boiling Springs, SC and started taking dance seriously around middle school when she started competing in multiple styles. She attended Anderson University and earned a BA in Theatre with a Dance Concentration. Her favorite memory from college was getting to choreograph in numerous capacities. After college, she continued choreographing for musicals with different theaters in the Upstate. Megan lives in Anderson with her husband, Richie, and their three boys. She loves being back at AU as part of the dance faculty.

Fast Facts
Each class I teach consists of a warm up, center exercises and across the floor exercises. We work through many different styles of combinations throughout the semester. I aim to make my classes a positive experience where the students feel challenged and proud of the work they are putting in. We work on technique, musicality and artistic expression!
I am honored to teach at AU and watching the students grow in their understanding of each dance style is the most enjoyable for me.
Also, I graduated from AU years ago so watching the program grow and being part of it on this side is so exciting!
