Fast Facts

I love being able to lead this program with a faith centered culture of respect, kindness and unity. I appreciate the size of our smaller program. Our students are able to engage with every dance major during their years here, building lasting relationships with peers and faculty alike.

There are SO MANY ways in which DANCE can integrate into your future career. We strive to acknowledge the value and vast number of opportunities for individuals who love to dance and choose to secure a degree in dance. We have alumni who are working as performers, educators, choreographers, outreach coordinators, musical theatre teachers, and at theme parks such as Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Orlando, Universal Studios, and Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

The students genuinely strive for excellence in their training and invest in the courses and performances whole-heartedly. My fellow dance faculty and I make a wonderful team, all committed to working together toward new possibilities and enhancements as our program grows. It is a joy for all of us to be a part of the students’ journeys at AU.

I specialize in jazz, tap and musical theatre styles while also teaching choreography and creating choreographed works for our students. I mentor our dance majors and minors through advising and capstone projects. I also teach the audition preparedness and audition techniques courses for musical theatre and dance majors to prepare them for securing work through auditioning in the professional industries of theatre and dance.
