Academic Background

Kim enjoys working at Anderson University because of the small class sizes and the ability to work closely with the students. She wishes more students knew about the career opportunities available for supply chain managers.

“This area is growing rapidly and is an exciting part of business that most people don’t realize exists, but is truly the backbone of most businesses.”

Doctor of Philosophy, University of Texas at Arlington

Bachelor of Business Administration, Georgia

How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?

My classes involve quantitative management. While we study the numbers that drive business, we go further and truly apply the concepts to real-work situations in such a way that students can personally identify with the topics.

Business Statistics, Operations Management, Operations and Management, Service Quality Management

I spent over 20 years working in consumer products manufacturing. Led by the Holy Spirit, I went back to school in 2010 to get my Ph.D. so that I could teach business students the importance of the supply chain in all areas of business. I am passionate about teaching students to be well-rounded and ethical business leaders and teaching students that we can live a life of service to Christ through roles in business – it is a modern-day mission field.
