Dr. Shaw is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Anderson University. He loves encouraging students to reflect deeply on life’s big questions in order to take more free control over their lives. His research interests center on general questions related to knowledge. Dr. Shaw wrote his doctoral dissertation on questions relating to visual-perceptual knowledge and radical skepticism. He earned his PhD in philosophy at The University of Edinburgh in 2018. He is married to Amanda and they have three sons: Gideon, Leith, and John Henry.
