Fast Facts
AU is committed to teaching knowledge connected to truth and forming all aspects of students. Additionally, as a Christ-centered institution, students and faculty are free to connect faith within the learning process.
Teaching truly is a high calling that impacts children for a lifetime; therefore, we should approach it with great honor, humility, and fortitude considering we enter into a great conversation over teaching excellence which persists after over 2000 years of pursuit.
Tennessee Geography Teacher of the Year – 2010 Gave the Fall 2022 commencement address at Eastern New Mexico University
I enjoy the ambition and insight that AU students bring to class. I am inspired and learn from my students in the process of playing a small part of their formation as future teachers.
