Doctoral Hooding and Commencement Ceremony

3:30 PM – Students report for check-in and important ceremony details/announcements in Daniel Recital Hall (Side Entrance across from Thrift)
5:00 PM – Commencement Ceremony

Diploma Frame: Anderson University diploma frames are available to purchase on our website. The diploma frame is a custom order; please allow 4-6 weeks for the item to arrive. This item is not eligible for expedited shipping.

Diploma Distribution: Graduates will receive empty diploma covers during the ceremony. The diplomas will not be available on the day of the ceremony. Diplomas will be mailed by February 20, 2026.

Required Dress: Commencement participants must be dressed appropriately in attire suitable for formal church services or professional engagements.  Avoid high heels and slick-soled shoes to limit the chance of slips or falls.

Note: Students must wear approved regalia to participate during the ceremony. If a student does not have regalia for the ceremony, they will have to sit with their guests and will not be able to walk across the stage.

Cap and Gown: Students are not allowed to wear cords or stoles unless approved by the Office of the Provost and the Registrar’s office. Caps cannot be decorated. Students will be asked to remove the cap if it is decorated. Students must order their regalia from Oak Hall to ensure a consistent appearance of all participants. Click here to order your regalia. Make sure you order the PACKAGE, so you will have the CAP, GOWN, HOOD, AND TASSEL for graduation.

Parking: The location for student parking will be announced closer to the date of the ceremony. Please check this page later and watch your emails for more information.
