December 13, 2024
8:00 AM – Doors open for check-in in Daniel Recital Hall (Side Entrance across from Thrift)
8:30 AM – Roll call in Daniel Recital Hall
10:00 AM – Commencement Ceremony
Diploma Frame: Anderson University diploma frames are available to purchase on our website. The diploma frame is a custom order; please allow 4-6 weeks for the item to arrive. This item is not eligible for expedited shipping.
Diploma Distribution: Graduates will receive empty diploma covers during the ceremony. The diplomas will not be available on the day of the ceremony. Diplomas will be mailed by February 16, 2025.
Required Dress: Commencement participants must be dressed appropriately in attire suitable for formal church services or professional engagements. No jeans, shorts, or casual footwear (e.g., flip-flops, athletic shoes, etc.) are permitted. Avoid high heels and slick-soled shoes to limit the chance of slips or falls.
Cap and Gown: Students are not allowed to wear cords or stoles unless approved by the Office of the Provost and the Registrar’s office. Caps cannot be decorated. Students will be asked to remove the cap if it is decorated.
Ceremony FAQs
Guests can arrive as early as 8:45 AM. Guest check-in will be in the lobby of Henderson.
The ceremony lasts around 2 hours.

The University is contracted with Pro Pics to provide photography for graduation, no photographers outside of the University will be allowed on the premises. After the event, you are more than welcome to use the campus for a photo shoot. To order photos: www.AUphotos.com
A limit of 4 guests each. There will be overflow seating in the Student Center Theatre for livestream viewing.
Yes, AU Outfitters will be open from 9:00am to 6:00pm. You can also shop online here.
