CARE Team
Who Are We
The CARE Team at Anderson University supports students' academic, emotional, spiritual, and physical success by promoting campus health and safety. The team proactively identifies and assists students showing signs of distress or disruptive behavior, connecting them with resources to help prevent crises. Comprised of faculty and staff, the team meets weekly to address student needs.
When Should I Report
File a report if you observe any concerning situations or behaviors. For guidance, refer to the CARE Team Decision Tree. All reports are reviewed by the CARE Team to determine the best response. Due to confidentiality, you may not be notified of the outcome, though you may be contacted for clarification.
Report Worthy Instances
- Threatening or harmful behavior
- Disruptive behavior on campus
- Writings with dangerous intent
- Threatening online posts
- Major behavior changes
- Policy violations
- Classroom disruptions
- Family death or illness
How To Make A Report
To report an incident or a concern to the CARE Team please use one of the following forms.
