How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?

NUR 453 Leadership and Management

After retiring from 43 years of nursing education and staff development service at AnMed Health, I wanted to keep my hands in nursing education part time. The opportunity to teach in the nursing program here at Anderson University was truly a blessing. I felt that my experience and education would allow me to contribute to the academic excellence that is the foundation of Anderson University. I love the part of the Anderson University mission and vision statement that says “to provide a challenging education grounded in Christian faith and human knowledge and achievement”. It resonated with me and I felt I could bring my clinical nursing expertise into the academic setting in order to teach and motivate students towards dedication their careers to the improvement of health in our community and beyond.
