Mission

Welcome to the Anderson University Center for Career Development!

At the Center for Career Development (CCD), our mission is to equip students to pursue their God-given purpose through meaningful career readiness that impacts communities, cities, and professions. By living out the university’s pillar of Great Purpose, we joyfully guide students to discover and follow a purposeful life.

Career Coaching Services

Our experienced career coaching team is committed to preparing students for success in today’s dynamic job market. We provide personalized services such as:

  • Career Exploration & Planning: Helping you navigate career opportunities and pathways.
  • Résumé & Cover Letter Consultations: Crafting standout job application materials.
  • Job Search & Networking Advice: Connecting you with the right opportunities.
  • Graduate School Preparation: Assisting with the application process and planning.
  • LinkedIn Profile Optimization & Personal Branding: Ensuring your digital presence represents your strengths.
  • Interview Preparation: Offering tips and mock interviews to sharpen your skills.

We offer both in-person and virtual appointments, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. While appointments are encouraged, walk-ins are also welcome as availability allows.

Our Employer Relations team works diligently to create opportunities for students to connect with potential employers through events such as:

  • Career Fairs: Large-scale networking events each spring.
  • Employer Tabling Events: On-campus opportunities to meet recruiters.
  • Mock Interviews and Info Sessions: Hands-on practice and employer insights.

Anderson University Career Readiness Competencies

We offer students the opportunity to develop eight Career Readiness Competencies, helping them succeed in their careers through a Christian lens that emphasizes integrity and purposeful living:
