Special Summer Rate
AU offers a discounted tuition rate for online dual-enrollment courses. Courses are $125 per credit hour, which is $375-$500 for standard three-to four-credit courses.

- Submit an official high school transcript
If a student is satisfying a high school requirement with this course, then he or she will be required to submit an Online Dual Enrollment Permission Form to Baxter Morgan.
Steps to Apply
- Select ‘Create an Account’ to begin the application
- Select ‘Specialty Programs – 2021 Summer’
- Select Dual Enrollment under the Academic Program drop-down option ‘What Program Are You Wishing To Take?’
- Check both ‘High School Concurrent’ options
Your student’s Dual Enrollment application will be reviewed upon submission. Once admitted to the program, students will sign into their Admission Portal using the same login credential used when creating their application account. After signing in, students will be required to complete their Enrollment Confirmation Form.

Frequently Asked Questions
Public high school juniors and seniors as well as home-schooled equivalents are eligible. Students from private schools may also apply but need to check with their guidance counselors to see if their schools offer dual enrollment. Students must meet all college enrollment requirements to be able to participate in the dual-credit courses.
Anderson (S.C.) School District Five: Anderson University has an agreement with Anderson School District Five for dual-credit offerings. Check the school district’s course catalog for additional details.
High school juniors and seniors with a 3.0 GPA and qualifying scores on SAT, ACT, or ACCUPLACER tests are eligible to apply. Some course descriptions may state that no waivers or overrides to prerequisites will be considered; however, with help from your guidance counselor and our admission staff, we’ll consider conditional admittance if test scores haven’t been reported yet.
Our Scholars Program courses have been especially designed with high school schedules in mind:
- On-campus courses are scheduled for early morning so students can fit them into their high school schedule.
- Most on-campus courses are hybrid courses that meet once per week, giving students the best of both worlds: online flexibility and the richness of an in-class, face-to-face experience.
- There are online courses available for students who can’t travel to campus.
- Chromebook- and iPad-friendly: many of our courses don’t require additional, expensive textbooks.
- Courses are taught by full-time university faculty, not teaching assistants or adjuncts.

AU dual-credit courses are specifically designed to transfer into any four-year institution in the country, whether public or private. Anderson University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS) to award baccalaureate, masters and doctoral degrees, and many of our programs have additional rigorous accreditation. Though it is always up to the discretion of the receiving university whether to accept credits for transfer, any university accepting transfer credits should also accept AU dual-enrollment credits.
