Students at Anderson University now have access to additional scholarship opportunities because of a contribution from the Wells Fargo Foundation. Representatives of the company’s philanthropic division on Thursday presented a donation of $5,000 during a ceremony at the G. Ross Anderson Jr. Student Center.
“Thanks to the generous support from the Wells Fargo Foundation, Anderson University is able to offer life-changing scholarships to deserving students,” said Wayne Landrith, Senior Vice President of Development and Presidential Affairs at Anderson University. “This investment in our exceptional students speaks volumes to the foundation’s belief in the importance of higher education. Many scholarships available at AU are made possible by contributions from alumni and friends like Wells Fargo.”
With Anderson students in attendance, officials with the Wells Fargo Foundation said education is one of the organization’s primary areas of philanthropic focus.
