Anderson University alumni and friends provided over $500,000 in student scholarships and campus improvements during the University’s annual A Day campaign on March 30.
In all, 893 AU supporters provided 985 gifts and pledges for a record-breaking total of $506,979. The total gifts and pledges increased 33.36 percent from 2022.
“Anderson University’s alumni and friends are second to none,” said Senior Vice President for Development and Presidential Affairs Wayne Landrith. “All of us at AU are honored and humbled by the faithfulness, generosity and selflessness of those who support the University’s mission of educating students and advancing the cause of faith-based higher education. On behalf of Anderson University, its Senior Leadership Team, Board of Trust and the thousands of Trojans around the world, I cannot thank our supporters enough.”
One of the most important days of the year at Anderson University, A Day was re-instituted as an annual event in 2017. Since then, supporters have generously provided nearly $2 million, helping transform AU into the largest private university in South Carolina and one of the fastest growing private colleges or universities in the United States.
