Academic Background
Dr. Joanna Stegall is an associate professor in the College of Education. She has been an educator for 37 years, with the last 13 years in higher education at Anderson University. She researches the role of vocabulary in content-area learning and the use of technology for enhancing students’ experiences in the classroom.

Fast Facts
Teaching in a Christian environment allows me to be fully myself. I am passionate about helping the next generation of Christian teachers because they will have an important influence in the lives of many students who have average and above IQ, but struggle to be successful in school.
