Arriving on Campus

Anderson University is excited to welcome its students back to campus for the 2021 spring semester and continues making every effort to keep the campus community healthy and safe in the Journey Ahead.

Anderson University students will begin arriving on campus over the next two weeks, with the first day of on-campus classes beginning Tuesday, January 19.

In order to provide an efficient and safe move-in experience, Residence Life has designed a three-day move-in process for all residential students. Move-in days are January 16, 17, and 18.

Move-In Process

Two items need to be completed prior to move in:

  • Residential students were provided a Move-In form, which gives them the opportunity to select a specific day and time. Students should not arrive earlier than their designated time.
  • One day prior to the date of arrival, residential students will receive by email a health screening form that must be completed before move in.

Upon arrival to campus, residential students are required to report to their designated screening location prior to entering their residence hall room. Residence Life staff will ensure all students have passed health screening and have permission to return to their room.

As with all Journey Ahead protocols, the move-in procedure was based on guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, DHEC, and the Anderson University COVID-19 Task Force.

Important Requirements for All Students and Guests

  • Only 2 guests per student are allowed to assist you with move-in.
  • Students and all guests must wear a face covering at all times while inside a University building, including residence halls.
  • Students and all guests must wear a face covering outside when you are unable to physically distance from others.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
