Senior Special Education majors with Dr. Joanna Stegall celebrating the success of the College of Education's 2018 Fall Networking Day on October 16th, which saw AU host fifteen different P-12 districts on campus to recruit new teachers for their districts.

Interior Design seniors presented their solutions to the IDEC National Student Competition project "Sensory Environments", in which they designed a vocational facility for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
COE Early Childhood Candidates accepted an award on behalf of Dr. Lynette Pannell for her lifetime of service to SCAEYC at the 2018 SCAEYC Conference in Columbia, SC.
COE candidates Allison Baker, Jodi Ann Gosnell, Kelsey Jones, Madeline Patterson, and Coleman West present alongside Dr. Sheliah Durham at the 2018 South Carolina Association of Teacher Education Conference (SCATE) hosted by Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC.
Interior Design students toured and learned from Industry Professionals at the South's premier Atlanta Decorative Arts Center designed by International Architect, John Portman. Students were introduced to how they will use the design center with their clients upon becoming a professional Interior Designers.
