Why teach at AU?
Anderson University students and faculty have great passion, enthusiasm and collegiality. There is a desire among everyone here at the university to become better than we were yesterday, and that is a great mindset to have and something I want to continue to be a part of.

What do you find most enjoyable about working at AU?
Every faculty I have met strives to do three things. First, we give our students every opportunity to succeed and will go above and beyond to give them that. Second, we are active in our profession/disciple so that we can educate our students with current technologies and methodologies. Third, there is amazing collegiality which allows greater dialogue and collaboration between departments.
What I wish prospectives students knew about my discipline or careers in my discipline.
Art is profession you can succeed at and find great meaning in. I want to instill that into each of my students.
How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?
My classes are encouraging, creative and lively. I want my students to know and understand they can make great art and I get them to understand this by introducing them to different technologies, materials, equipment and opportunities. I tell my students they never graduate from my classes as I will always try to help them get where they want to go.
