Why teach at AU?
For me, “higher education” means not only to aspire to the next level of training, it also means to aspire for what is greater than ourselves. Could there be a better way to do so than to integrate faith and learning? And could there be a better place to do so than in a community of like-minded artists, scholars, and students? It is here, through God’s grace and love, where education becomes truly possible.
How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?
In my own art education, the best classes became instruments of learning, community, growth, vision, and even grace. I hope that my teaching will have that same impact on my students.
