Enrollment Counselor - Part Time

Anderson University’s Office of Post Traditional Enrollment Services invites applications for the role of part-time Enrollment Counselor. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The university seeks a candidate with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning.

The Enrollment Counselor serves as a “one-stop” contact for post-traditional applicants through personalized support, providing clear instruction and guiding prospective students from application to first week of class. Key responsibilities include contacting all new applicants by phone within 24 hours; monitoring incomplete and newly received applications daily; meeting enrollment goals; making admission decision recommendations and developing a positive professional relationship with each assigned post-traditional applicant.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Recruiting sales experience related to postsecondary education, and working knowledge of database management preferred. Strong communication skills, time management, attention to detail, and excellent customer service experience essential.
