Administrative Assistant - School of Physical Therapy

Anderson University and the School of Physical Therapy invites applicants for a full-time, 12-month Administrative Assistant.  This position is located in the University Center in Greenville, SC.  Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Reporting directly to the Chair of the School of Physical Therapy, the Administrative Assistant’s primary purpose is to perform duties that maintain daily office operations. These include, but are not limited to, budget management, preparation of accreditation and university reports, new faculty/staff orientation, class scheduling, answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate person, greeting guests, providing facility tours and program information to prospective students, coordinating faculty travel, processing purchase orders, and other related administrative duties as assigned.

A successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and will have previous administrative or managerial experience. Prior knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft Office and budget and database software is preferred. Those with effective organizational and strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
