Policies and Guidelines for Student Registration

As a student of Anderson University, I agree to the following Terms and Conditions as part of the Enrollment and Registration process.  This includes all information regarding the Fee Schedule and content included in current Academic Catalog as part of these Terms and Conditions, which may change periodically.  

I agree to abide by the regulations of Anderson University for the current year.  I understand that I am responsible for the payment of all fees and charges incurred on my student account.  I understand that if fees and charges are not paid in full, these amounts will be turned over to an external collection agency and additional fees will be incurred up to 33 1/3 percent.

Student Account

In using the Self-Service Web Registration system, I understand that I am directly affecting my academic record and my student account.  I agree to take full responsibility for the course registrations, course adds, drops, and withdrawals I enter and submit for processing through this system.

I am responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of my account and password and for restricting access to my computer.  I agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under my account or password.  The University reserves the right to refuse service or terminate accounts at its sole discretion.  

Violations of computer and network policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis according to established policies; determinations may include denial of access privileges.  In all instances, measures will be taken to protect the system; however, due-process rights of everyone involved will be observed in all cases.  Users are reminded that some uses of the network are governed by local, State, or Federal laws.

I am aware that the University will process my personal data, or other data, which the University may obtain from me or other people subsequently for purposes connected with my studies, my health and safety, and other legitimate reasons.  I understand that details regarding how the University may use and disclose my data and my FERPA rights are explained in the University catalog.

I give my express consent to the processing of my personal data.

E-Mail Communication

I understand that my primary email address shall be the andersonuniversity.edu email address issued to me by the University.  All material sent by email to my University email address shall be deemed to have been received, and it is my responsibility to check my University email account regularly and to ensure that my mailbox is not full.  

I agree to be contacted on any phone number I provide, including my cellphone.
