Royce, Clamp, and Gaston Halls 

House primarily first-year students and feature double-occupancy rooms and community-style bathrooms. There are 44-56 females per building. 

• Room Dimensions: 11′ x 16′; ceiling height varies by floor
• Amenities: Cable TV, wireless internet, on-site parking for upperclassmen residents
• Furniture: Loft-/bunk-able bed (80W x 36D x 36H), extra-long twin mattress, wardrobe, dresser (30W x 20D x 30H), desk (42W x 24D x 30H), and chair (20W x 23.5D x 33H)
• Bathroom: Community-style bathrooms on each floor with 6 showers, 6-8 bathroom stalls, 6-8 sinks per bathroom
• Laundry: Laundry facilities on first floor of each building
• Lobby: Extra-large lobby in Clamp Hall available for use for all Boulevard residents featuring two TVs, a ping pong table, a full kitchen, and ample seating for meetings and events. Smaller lobbies in Gaston, Royce with TVs, seating, and full kitchens
• Staff: One Professional Residence Director living in Clamp Hall and one student Resident Advisor for each floor

Whitaker & Boulevard Suites 

Whitaker Hall and Boulevard Suites are designated for upperclassmen females and feature three-room suites with two students per room and two full bathrooms per suite. There are 102 females in each of these buildings.

Pratt and Denmark Residence Halls

Pratt and Denmark are wonderfully located in the center of campus with Merritt Administration building between the two. Built in 1911, they hold many memories and are a major part of the Anderson University story. Historic charm, high ceilings, and spacious hallways are trademarks of the Pratt and Denmark halls. These buildings house 120-170 female residents per building.

• Room Dimensions: approximately 13′ x 15′ (room dimensions vary)

• Furniture: Bunk-able bed (80W x 36D x 36H), extra-long twin mattress, closet, dresser (30W x 20D x 30H), desk (42W x 24D x 30H), and chair (20W x 23.5D x 33H)
• Bathroom: Suite-style bathroom shared between two or three rooms (with the exception of the Pratt Basement which hosts community-style bathrooms)

• Staff: One Professional Residence Director living in an apartment off of Pratt lobby and one student Resident Advisor per hall

Stringer Commons

Located between main campus and the Athletic Campus, Stringer Commons offers a unique housing opportunity for upperclassmen students. Each apartment-style suite features four bedrooms with two residents per room, a common room, and a kitchenette. Stringer is home to 24-32 male and female students in each of the five buildings.

• Room Dimensions: 10′ x 13′
• Amenities: Cable TV, wireless internet, common patio area with a grill behind Stringer C
• Furniture: Loft-/bunk-able bed (80W x 36D x 36H), extra-long twin mattress, closet, dresser (30W x 20D x 30H), desk (42W x 24D x 30H), and chair (20W x 23.5D x 33H)
• Bathroom: Suite-style bathroom shared between two rooms
• Common Area: Living room and kitchenette located in each suite (approximately 16′ x 22′); kitchenette features a counter, cabinet, and sink space and a full-sized refrigerator provided

Kingsley Hall

Conveniently located between the Village Hall and the Student Center, Kingsley is a suite-style residence hall with two residents per room and unique, built in storage in each room. Kingsley is home to 70 female sophomore residents.

Lawton Hall

Lawton Hall is conveniently located next to Watkins Hall, the largest academic building on campus, and directly behind the Rouse residence halls. This three-story building houses 125 male residents and offers a unique combination of all class levels. Lawton offers suite-style rooms with 2 residents per room. Each suite has a shared bathroom.  Lawton Hall features balconies overlooking a courtyard area with a grill and picnic tables for outdoor activities.

• Room Dimensions: 12′ x 18′ (with sink and mirror in every room)
• Amenities: Cable TV, wireless internet

Rouse Halls

North and South Rouse are located across the street from the President’s House and the Rainey Fine Arts Center. Both North and South Rouse are home to freshman male students. Rouse Hall offers double-occupancy rooms and features a suite-style bathroom for every two rooms. There is a shared lobby space conveniently located between each building. 

• Room Dimensions: 13′ x 16′

Village Hall

The Village, located at the center of campus beside the Student Center, is our only residence hall that offers single-person rooms. Each suite includes four single-person rooms, two full bathrooms, and a common living room space. The living room in each suite features a kitchenette and plenty of space for a sofa or other furniture. The Village is an upperclassman living area that houses male students on the west side and female students on the east side.

• Room Dimensions: Typically, 10’ x 10’, but can vary
• Amenities: Cable TV, wireless internet
• Furniture: Bed (80W x 36D x 36H), extra-long twin mattress, closet, dresser, desk (42W x 24D x 30H), and chair for each room (20W x 23.5D x 33H)
• Bathroom: Suite style bathroom shared between two rooms; two bathrooms per suite
• Common Space: Kitchenette with cabinets, a sink, and ample storage space
• Laundry: Coin/debit-card operated laundry facility located off of the first-floor lobby
• Lobby: Large lobby with TV, a variety of seating, vending machines, and a ping pong table
• Staff: One Professional Residence Director living in an apartment off of the Village lobby and one student Resident Advisor per floor

Village Basement

• Lobby: Spacious lobby featuring multiple TVs and comfortable seating
• Staff: One Professional Residence Director living on the main floor of Village and two student Resident Advisors in the Village Basement

The Townhomes

• Amenities: Cable TV, wireless internet, on-site parking near each unit, Trojan Transit provides transportation from the Townhomes to main campus
• Furniture: Bunk-able bed (80W x 36D x 36H), extra-long twin mattress, dresser (30W x 20D x 30H), desk (42W x 24D x 30H), and chair (20W x 23.5D x 33H) for each resident; one closet per room
• Bathroom: One full bath upstairs and one half-bath downstairs
• Living Room: Cable TV access, ample space for furniture
• Kitchen: Full kitchen with stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, cabinets, and large pantry
• Laundry: Washer and dryer hookups in each Townhome (students must have their washer and dryer inspected by the Physical Plant before use); students are also given access to the laundry facilities in Stringer Commons
• Staff: One Professional Residence Director living in the Townhomes and five student Resident Advisors
