Everyone at AU, from our alumni and friends to our faculty and staff, places a great deal of importance on creating a culture where everyone is an insider, and no one feels like an outsider. To see that effort bear fruit in the lives of our students, and by the recognition of prestigious organizations, makes me incredibly proud.”
In ranking student engagement, The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Educationconsiders how well a university “manages to inform, inspire and challenge students.” Its methodology also takes into account how connected students are to campus life; how enthusiastically they recommend their college or university; the quality of their interaction with faculty; and the number of accredited programs a university offers.
