AU, BEMCSC Team Up for 'Preaching Through a Pandemic' Conference
Preaching Out of a Pandemic is the theme of a June 23 online preaching conference jointly sponsored by the Baptist Educational and Missionary Convention of South Carolina (BEMCSC) and the Anderson University Clamp Divinity School.
The conference will feature several outstanding preachers, including Ralph Douglas West, pastor of The Church Without Walls in Houston, TX; Charlie Dates, pastor of Progressive Baptist Church in Chicago, IL; Dante Wright, pastor of Sweet Home Baptist Church in Round Rock, TX and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry at Anderson University; James Noble, Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion at Anderson University and pastor of Mountain Spring Baptist Church in Anderson, SC; and Melvin Andrew Davis, pastor of Zion Baptist Church in Columbia, SC.
The conference will be moderated by Donald E. Greene, President of the BEMCSC and pastor of the Andrew Chapel Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC.
“We are excited to partner with the BEMCSC in making this unique event available to pastors in South Carolina and around the country,” said Dr. Michael Duduit, dean of the Anderson University College of Christian Studies and Clamp Divinity School, and editor of Preaching magazine. “We’ve put together a team of some of the finest African-American preachers in America, and the conference will be a great time of training and inspiration for church leaders.
