March 9, 2020
Anderson University
Anderson University is preparing for all contingencies to protect the health and safety of its students amid the growth of Coronavirus across the country.

The Anderson University COVID-19 task force has been meeting daily since it was formed by President Evans P. Whitaker, Ph.D. In addition, team members have been in daily contact with federal, state and local health and emergency management officials.

This is a rapidly evolving public health situation, and the Anderson University COVID-19 task force is actively preparing for all contingencies. Those include the ways in which the University delivers education services to its students while protecting their health, and that of the Anderson community. This is the University’s top priority.

More specifically, the Anderson University COVID-19 task force is addressing how best to modify our students’ on-campus courses, including the possibility of converting them into online learning platforms for any period of time deemed necessary by the University administration.

Anderson University faculty, staff and students should refer to our dedicated COVID-19 landing page at for the latest information and resources.
