The Office of Marketing and Communications supports the mission of Anderson University by developing and protecting the brand of the institution and projecting the brand in a consistent and effective manner to external audiences. It is vital that Anderson University be known as a rapidly emerging private Christian university where academic excellence and faith combine in a supportive environment where faculty, staff and students are dedicated to learning and service.
Through a variety of channels, the Office of Marketing and Communications projects Anderson University to the larger world. Through print publications, social media, electronic media, advertising and public relations, external audiences are introduced to Anderson University in a manner that connects them to the unique attributes of the University and those who live, study and work here.
To effectively promote and maintain the brand, the Office of Marketing and Communications develops and maintains a visual identity and graphic standard for the University. It is essential that the colors, typefaces, graphic look and feel, and presentation of University marks and logos be consistent across all communication platforms, including email, stationery, advertising, print publications and electronic media. In addition, campus communication in less formal media, such as social media, should also be consistent with the brand of Anderson University. It is also important for the Office of Marketing and Communications to review all publications to ensure there are no false statements or promises about AU's programs or offerings.
