Anderson University’s Department of Guest Services invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as Director of Auxiliary Services. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Guest and Auxiliary Services, the Director of Auxiliary Services is responsible for coordinating event services for both internal and external clients. The Director will manage a dynamic team of student employees who provide support for all audiovisual operations and event services in the university’s Student Center.
As part of the Guest Services team, this role collaborates closely with university departments, students, and external partners to support a wide range of activities, events, and campus-wide initiatives throughout the year. Flexibility is essential, as this position will require evening and weekend hours based on event schedules and operational needs.
Preferred candidates will have knowledge equivalent to at least five years of audiovisual support and/or event planning experience, ideally in hospitality or higher education. Individuals should have strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. The ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information is essential. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
