Anderson University’s College of Business (COB) invites applications for a full-time, 12 month position as Corporate Event Coordinator. The Corporate Events Coordinator assists with the ideation, planning, development, and execution of all corporate events, enhancing the COB’s visibility and engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Through innovative event programming, the coordinator is responsible for leading teams in orchestrating high-impact events, including conferences, networking sessions, and corporate partnerships that align with the college’s strategic goals and corporate initiatives. Serving as the primary liaison for internal and external constituents of the COB, the Event Coordinator will provide a high level of hospitality by creating a warm, welcoming, and informative environment for all event participants. This position will oversee marketing and promotional strategies, collaborating with the Marketing and Communications department to ensure all public relations, digital marketing, and social media outreach showcases consistent university branding and maximum event visibility. Additionally, the Event Coordinator will continually assess event performance, attendee engagement, and financial management by preparing comprehensive reports for the College of Business and its Graduate Programs.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or event/hospitality management combined with previous work experience in large-scale event planning or management is required. Proficiency in the use of Mircrosft Office, CRM systems, and event management software is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on customer service, and the ability to effectively lead, multi-task and prioritize while maintaining a keen attention to detail is essential.
