Anderson University’s Office of Human Resources invites applications for a 12-month, full-time position as Student Employment Coordinator. The Student Employment Coordinator works closely with the Human Resources Director of Operations and Student Employment Program Manager to enhance the on-campus student employment model by supporting a comprehensive array of student-centered services including hiring, onboarding, training assignments, and management of student employees within the Workday ERP system and training database. The Student Employment Coordinator will collaborate with the Center for Career Development, Business Office, Financial Services, and student employee supervisors to implement and maintain on-campus student employment efforts in such a way that supports on-campus student employees and the career and professional development of Anderson University students. Specifically, this position will ensure timely communication on issues regarding time entry, student employment policies and procedures, one-time payment and payroll processes, and assist with events, including Student Employee Appreciation Week. Additionally, this position will represent and attend meetings, promoting student employment, and assist with data management, reporting, and other projects as requested.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree and experience in higher education or student or career services is preferred. An understanding of state and federal labor laws, proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheet software, like Microsoft Office Suite, and data management systems, like Workday, is desired. Exemplary customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work in a professional and confidential manner with members of the community, faculty/staff, students, and a commitment to the Christ-focused mission of the university is essential
