Anderson University’s Legal and Finance Departments invite applications for a part-time position as an Administrative Assistant. Candidates should be prepared to support office operations by caring for administrative tasks to include: providing support for meeting and material preparations, assist with project and processes for contracts, insurance, property and other related functions, organize office systems and manage documents, research and correspondence, protect confidentiality, help manage department budget and processing invoices for payments, answer phones, handle mail, order office supplies and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a Associates’ degree and 2-3 years of administrative support experience or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to respond with excellent customer service skills, working with senior leaders and various members of the campus community. Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to multitask and set priorities. Position requires extended periods of sitting at a desk and computer work 7+ hours a day; ability to think creatively and strategically, and work under pressure. Moderate noise and interruptions while working.
