Anderson University’s Center for Career Development invites applications for a 12-month, full-time position as Career Development Coordinator. The Career Development Coordinator is a student-centered position focused on facilitating student career development in academic classrooms and supporting career development initiatives by providing an array of services relating to career exploration, purpose, and discernment of calling. Reporting directly to the Director of the CCD, this position leads Anderson University’s Professional Readiness Opportunities (AU PRO) Signature Series- a set of six high-impact workshops equipping students with essential professional skills. The Coordinator maintains the AU PRO course including tracking participation, curating helpful resources and providing constructive feedback on submitted assignments. The Coordinator also hosts individual and group career coaching sessions, delivers engaging classroom presentations, and supports signature career events across campus, including skill-building workshops and etiquette dinners. Additionally, this role will track engagements and outcomes, helping to produce clear, data-informed reports that reflect the impact of career development efforts at AU. Occasional travel is required to meet, build, and foster relationships with employers, internship providers, and external stakeholders.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a Master’s Degree and previous work experience in career services or a related field is required. CCSP, CDF, GCDF certifications preferred. Understanding of best practices and current issues in career development as well as National Association of Colleges and Employers guidelines, federal and state employer laws, knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn and other job boards is preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is essential. Those who possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills are encouraged to apply.
