Fast Facts
I teach historical and systematic theology at AU because of its dedication to rigorous intellectual engagement with the Scriptures and tradition on the one hand and its pastoral emphasis on the other. Anderson University creates a unique environment by marrying pastoral and academic theology, which facilitates a culture of faith, compassion, and growth.
Theology is not only for academics. It shapes the lives of every Christian and thus should be studied by every Christian.
I have published peer-reviewed books and articles, spoken at national and international conferences around the world, and been inducted into several scholarly associations such as the International Association of Patristic Studies.
I love the teaching students who are intellectually engaged, pastorally sensitive, and rooted in their faith.
