Groundbreaking for the G. Ross Anderson, Jr. Student Center

Named after United States District Judge G. Ross Anderson Jr, AU’s  $15.2 million student center will be a 86,000 square-foot hub for campus. It will be the largest building on campus and feature a 600-seat dining hall, a 400-seat banquet hall, a 400-seat theatre, a fitness center and a lobby with two walls of live news from the world's leading news organizations.

“It will be one of the best and most attractive student centers in the South,” said AU President Dr. Evans Whitaker.
