DESCRIPTION:Register Today! \nOn behalf of Anderson University\, we are excited to invite you to join us for the29th Annual Anderson University VIP Golf Tournament. This year’s event willbe held at The Currahee Club in Toccoa\, Georgia\, on Tuesday\, May 7th\, 2024.Tucked away in the mountains and removed from the chaos of city life\, CurraheeClub is a mountain-lake retreat nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.A pristine lakefront setting lends itself to a year-round Jim Fazio-designed golfcourse. Currahee Club has garnished many awards including the 2018 Golf Club ofthe Year from Lux Life Magazine and the #1 Golf Club in Georgia and Top 4 in USANational Golf Course Owners Association in 2015. \nWe are in the final planning stages of this year’s event\, and it is going to be atournament unmatched in support of approximately 475 Anderson Universitystudent-athletes as they compete in NCAA Division II and the South AtlanticConference. This VIP Tournament has raised over $1\,000\,000 since its inception.The entry fee for this year’s tournament is $2\,000 per foursome or $500for an individual. We are also actively looking for individual and corporatesponsorships. Included in your sponsorship or entry fee are a hearty breakfast andlunch\, driving range access\, unlimited beverages and snacks during the tournamentand a special awards ceremony. \nRegistration begins at 8:00 am with a shotgun start at 9:30 am. If you cannot play inthe tournament but would like to make a donation\, it would be greatly appreciated.More information can be found in the pamphlet here. \nWe will be limiting the number of participants for the tournament this year to 100players so the field of players will begin to fill up quickly. Therefore\, earlyregistration is encouraged. Deadline to register for the tournament is Friday\,April 19th\, 2024.
