If you’re a nurse, getting an MSN is just plain practical. Whether you want to become an advanced practice nurse, enter management, or teach at the college level, the Master of Science in Nursing is the entry-level degree you need to get there.
At AU you can choose from four concentrations, which you can start as an RN with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. When you enter with a BSN, you can earn your MSN within 15 months. We offer the following MSN concentrations:
Nursing, leading or teaching with a servant’s heart
Whether you’re called to be a nurse practitioner, manager or educator, you have the opportunity to follow Christ’s example of service. At AU, we want to come alongside you in this endeavor through our Christ-centered perspective on nursing and healthcare.
Throughout the program, our instructors will help you explore the intersection of vocation and faith. To that end, you will participate in a Faith and Learning Seminar, investigating topics such as Servant Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and Christian Worldview.
Online classes with campus visits
All classes are offered online, so you can learn anywhere. You will still meet your cohort and professors in person periodically, depending upon your degree program.
