AU’s Summer Online provides you the ability to keep your academic plan on pace and possibly even provide more time for campus activities in the Fall and Spring. Take advantage of some spare time this summer to take a few courses and get a head start on next year’s class schedule. Our online summer programs allow you to continue your journey from the comfort of your own home.

Students currently enrolled at Anderson University

All currently enrolled students should register for summer courses via Self-Service. Please see registration deadlines above and financial aid information below.

First-time college students and transfer students

First-time college students and transfer students who will continue into the fall semester at Anderson University must complete an online application for admission and be advised by the appropriate College Dean before registering for classes. To apply, go to the traditional Admission web page https://andersonuniversity.edu/admission.

Dual-Enrollment Students

Dual-Enrollment students may apply to take summer online courses at Anderson University at this link: https://www.andersonuniversity.edu/dual-enrollment/admission. Check with school officials to verify if courses may count for dual-credit.

Transient Students

Those students enrolled at other colleges who plan to attend Anderson University in the summer only and then return to their institution should complete an online application and submit a statement of approval to enroll in courses at Anderson University from the college in which they are enrolled.  Once admitted, students will receive access to Self-Service for self-registration.

Tuition and Fees for Summer 2023

$ 350 - Per Credit Hour
$ 500 - Per Credit Hour – Independent Study
$ 185 - Per Credit Hour – Applied Music Course Fee
$ 350 - Per Credit Hour – Audit Fee
$ 125 - Per Credit Hour - Dual Enrollment

The rates above are for traditional undergraduate students only.  Adult Studies Program, Flex, Dual Enrollment and Graduate Students should refer to the 2022-2023 Undergraduate and Graduate Catalog, respectively, for applicable tuition and fees.

Financial Aid for Summer School

The summer semester is included in the previous academic year.  Therefore, you must complete the 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and your financial aid file by March 1, 2021.
